Ever Praise Music

and the Joyful Harts Music Library

Psalm 43
3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. 4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Worship Suggestion:
The sound file is looped.
1. As the song plays the first time (During Verse 1), make remarks about the joy and peace of walking in the light of God's love. All of the concerns of the day, and worries about the future will disappear in the warmth and light of God's love. Emphasize that the heavenly light is there always; even when the world seems dark around us. If we seek the light, we will find the light.
2. As the song continues, (During Verse 2 - 3) read the scripture from  Psalm 43:1-5 and your own selected portion of  Psalm 27: 1 - 14.

Let the song end.
3. When the song restarts, sing Verses 1 - 3 together.
4. Prayer and Meditation.

Oftentimes my sky is clear,
joy abounds without a tear;
though a day's so bright begun,
clouds may hide tomorrow's sun.
There'll be a day that's always bright,
a day that never yields to night,
and in its light the streets of glory
I shall behold someday. (Refrain)

Burdens now may crush me down,
disappointments all around,
troubles speak in mournful sigh,
sorrow through a tear-stained eye.
There is a world where pleasure reigns,
no mourning soul shall roam its plains,
and to that land of peace and glory
I want to go someday. (Refrain)

Someday

(Beams of Heaven)

Beams of heaven, as I go
through this wilderness below,
guide my feet in peaceful ways,
turn my midnights into days.
When in the darkness I would grope,
faith always sees a star of hope,
and soon from all life's grief and danger
I shall be free someday.

Refrain:
I do not know how long 'twill be,
nor what the future holds for me,
but this I know: if Jesus leads me,
I shall get home someday.
