I Must Tell Jesus

I must tell Jesus all of my trials,
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me,
He ever loves and cares for His own.

Refrain:
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

I must tell Jesus all of my troubles,
He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
If I but ask Him He will deliver,
Make of my troubles quickly an end. (Refrain)

  • I Must Tell Jesus #2322:47

 Philippians 4
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Worship Suggestion:
The sound file is looped.
1. As the song plays the first time, make remarks about going to God in prayer. The Bible tells us to take time to pray and let our needs and wants be known unto Him. Whether it is in a secluded place or as we go about the business of our daily lives, we should take the time to talk to God. He is right there with us and waiting to hear from us. It is an inspirational thought when we remember that our greatest help is always ready and available.
2. As the song plays the second time, read the scripture from the book of  Philippians 4:1-8, 19-23 and Isaiah 40:28-31. Let the song end.
3. When the song restarts, sing Verses 1 - 2 together.

4. Prayer and Meditation.
